I moved to Sweden in 2017 to do birth research... and it changed my entire life. I saw first-hand what a HUGE DIFFERENCE it makes for women to have community support throughout ALL of their birthing journey-- pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. So I quit my "real job" in 2023 to go doula full time.
